Apogee is a Mac Sisco novel opening a trilogy about a worldwide conspiracy. It sets the stage for a social and political inspection by introducing the efforts of Ex-Navy Seal and NSA intelligence agent Mac Sisco, who finds himself in over his head when Team Apogee is called upon to thwart an evil government-busting conspiracy.

The story opens with an acknowledgement that will feel familiar to modern Americans: "Something was wrong in America. Very wrong. As the ISIS/ISIL rampage was becoming a distant memory, tensions across the globe were elevating in other ways."

This leads to the first note that makes Apogee exceptional: its grounding not just in modern-day political and social turmoil, but the kinds of perceptions and atmosphere that feel familiar to Americans no matter their political ilk.

book review by D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Review

As Typhon's Chaos exhibits the potential for worldwide disruption and mass terrorism on a level never seen before, Mac and his team are tasked with the seeming impossible—to confront an enemy who seems to be everywhere, and yet nowhere.

Earle's ability to dovetail political cat-and-mouse games with social inspection lends a realistic tone and attraction to The Typhon Affair that places this thriller on par with the best of established genre authors.

In tackling a tricky situation from which there may be "no defense or recovery," the fate of not just the world order but humanity itself literally rests on Mac's shoulders. If his mission should fail, the world goes with it.

Thriller tension does not get any better than this. Libraries and readers seeking an exceptional story packed with unexpected twists and turns, strong characterization, and astute social and political inspections will find The Typhon Affair a winning acquisition and read.

Tense, smart, fast-moving action thriller….

Earle’s storytelling is brisk and efficient: he jampacks the gripping narrative with authentic character and vivid plot details.

Mac is a razor-sharp, ultra-cool, gritty hero who responds to threats with cool precision. The vast cast, which includes ingenious members of team Apogee and a handful of tenacious bad guys, are all entangled in a dynamic narrative, bouncing around city to city and country to country.

The prose is crisp, moving steadily through a well-paced plot, and the premise intriguing. Action scenes come in bursts, and a steady stream of revelations keep the tension high. In addition,

book review by Jennifer Hummer

"Admiral, there was only four words in the text, “WE ARE ALIVE-JASMINE” Sisco groaned."

This is a riveting espionage thriller, particularly terrifying because of its current-day context. Ex-Navy Seal and NSA elite Special Op intelligence agent Mac Sisco is assigned to prevent the evil Typhon cabal from gaining power and taking over the globe.

As the leader of Team Apogee, Sisco must stop these bad actors before it is too late. After receiving a random text, it is clear that Jasmine may still be alive, and time is of the essence. The tracker that was put in her airline bag was discovered by bad guy Gunderson, and he’s decided to use it to his advantage by pretending the plane has crashed, and all on board have perished. What follows is a fast-paced, high-octane thriller that fans of this genre will adore.
